OLA MINHAS QUERIDAS!!
Another week has gone by and I will have 6
months #onthemish this week, like what?! It doesn´t feel like I´ve been here
for that long, but I know it has been kind of a long time because I left the
United States basically not eating anything but chicken nuggets, grilled
cheese, and acai bowls, and now I eat things with eyeballs!!! (jk I actually
refuse, but y´all get the picture hehe).
This week we had a mission conference, and it
was fab per usual s/o President Fusco s/o Sister Fusco!!! President Fusco made
an observation that I want to share with yáll. In the last 3 talks that
President Monson gave, he talked about the same three things: Our choices, our
obedience, and repentance. Obviously if the prophet is giving us this message
three times in a row, God is worried about our choices, our obedience, and our repentance!
This is so important! And if we do these things, we will have a promise that we
will be happy, that we will know our Savior better, and that we will live with
God again. QUE LINDA!
Yesterday, Pedro Vitor was baptized. He is SO
funny!!! Before his baptism, literally one hour before his baptism, this other
little boy told him that he shouldn´t be baptized because he doesn´t need to be
and blah blah blah, and Pedro Vitor basically told him “I do what I want, and I
will be baptized”. This basically summarizes his testimony. I love teaching
little kids about the gospel because their hearts are so pure and so receptive
to God´s love! Pedro gets it! We´re teaching his whole family now, so
shoutoutzzz to Pedro Vitor for having courage and for introducing his family to
something that is important to him.
Love you all!!! Is Donald Trump still running
for president?? I literally know of nothing here, it´s great. Have a wonderful
week!!
Peace n Blessings,
